BRAND STORY

YAHSIN CHUNG's love for fashion is derived from her interest in outfits. Not until she went to Parsons School of Design for a short term program did she experience the complete garment production process. Even when she started her career as an interior designer, fashion continued to be a recurring topic in her own artworks. After a solo interdisciplinary exhibition fusing a catwalk show and space design,she decided to respond to her passion, and start her own brand. After several years of preparation, YAXIN ZONE is born in the winter of 2022.
YAXIN ZONE comes from the name of the designer. It is the extension of YAHSIN CHUNG, it also includes and crosses generation X, Y and Z. Generations could be frames, and yet we could thrive through the frames and grow out of them. Inspired by different forms of art, YAXIN ZONE will embody what it feels and explores in art, and represent them with garments. Unrestricted, beautiful and chic.

Inspirations

YAHSIN CHUNG adores everything that relates to aesthetics and the exploration of feelings. Including photography, painting, design and theatre, she experiences and manifests art in these fields.

Communicating and embracing worlds of others is one of her ways of being inspired. Traveling, movies and theatrical works all lead her imagination to roar and acquire new visions.

Traveler is the one character that she dearly identified herself with. And to her, fashion design is the result of digesting and representing all aesthetic experiences. In fabric, cutting and texture of her design, her unique interpretations are more than visible.
